“Frizzy hair don’t care” is a cool phrase to say, but we all struggle with frizz many times. Frizzy hair is very normal in Indian weather conditions and looks cool at times too. But during those times when it really gets out of control and you really want to tame that frizz, here is a quick tip.
Oil is a great way to tame the frizz, but using oils like coconut oil in my hair really makes it sticky. Hence I use Johnson’s baby hair oil.
Here are some quick steps to follow to keep your hair away from the frizz.
DO NOT USE HEAT TO DRY YOUR HAIR:
Using heat not only damages your hair but also leaves your hair really dry. Which means, more frizz. So never ever dry your hair with a dryer if you have frizzy hair.
LET YOUR HAIR DRY REALLY SLOW:
Once you are out of the shower, towel dry your hair gently. I even recommend not to use towels for your hair. You could use an old t-shirt or something really soft to wrap around your wet hair. This would adsorb the water without leaving your hair dry.
APPLY FEW DROPS OF OIL WHEN YOUR HAIR IS ALMOST DRY:
When your hair is almost dry, apply a few drops of Johnson’s baby hair oil to your hair and scrunch it in, if you want curls or gently pull down if you want a relatively wavy style.
Truly, this step does not make my frizz magically disappear, but it definitely reduces the frizz and prevents dryness.
Hope this was helpful!
Will be right back!
